Wood Options

• Western Red Cedar: Grade A knot-free boards with natural color variations ranging from reddish and pinkish-brown tones to darker bands and lighter sapwood accents. Cedar offers natural resistance to moisture and decay.

• Thermo Aspen/Alder: Thermally modified at temperatures of approximately 419°F or higher. The chemical-free thermal modification process produces a rich, darker appearance while improving dimensional stability and durability.

• Thermo Poplar: Thermally modified at approximately 374°F for indoor applications. The process improves dimensional stability and resistance to changes in humidity and temperature while producing a warm, rich wood tone.

Installation Notes

• Ceiling Height: An 8-foot ceiling height is recommended for proper safety and clearance.

• Customer Requirements: The customer or contractor is responsible for providing appropriate framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and exterior wall covering.

• Door: The standard shipment includes an all-glass sauna door.

• Backrests: Backrests are shipped flat. Additional spacers can be created on-site to achieve an angled backrest.

• Wall Boards: Wall boards are supplied in the standard horizontal direction. If the room width exceeds 8 feet, an interior seam will be added where two boards meet to span the additional width.
